My menopause journey has been inextricably interwoven with the archetype of the Wise Woman and my experience of addiction, sobriety and recovery. A vital part of my understanding of addiction is that it's far more subtle and ubiquitous that we see in fictional media representations, and often includes common 'everyday' behaviours like phone use, social media, or harmful relationship patterns, to name just a few.
